Kappa Goes Back to the '80s for Spring/Summer 2018

Having worked with the likes of Opening Ceremony and C2H4 recently, Kappa has now given a look at its upcoming Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Taking inspiration from nostalgic teenage memories of football, friendship and freedom, the collection sees the Italian brand bring back its large ‘Omini’ logo.

The ‘Omini’ emblem is most associated with the 1980s, when Kappa sponsored teams such as Juventus and A.C. Milan. This footballing tradition is an important influence for Spring/Summer 2018, along with the brand’s association to the casual movement and ’90s culture. This collection sees Kappa return to its trademark tracksuits in an array of colors including blue, black and baby pink, as well as hoodies, T-shirts and other athletic wear.
Take a look at the full Alex de Mora shot lookbook above, with all of the pieces set to drop in early 2018. In other fashion news, check out ARKET’s full Spring/Summer 2018 Menswear collection.
