Last night at Manchester Arena—the site of May’s suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert— Noel Gallagher headlined a “We Are Manchester” charity show. During his performance of “Don’t Look Back in Anger”—a song that became an anthem surrounding the tragedy—he appeared to wipe tears from his eyes. Watch it happen below. Naturally, Liam Gallagher had something to say about the performance. “NG broke down in tears cmon you seriously ain't buying that he doesn’t give a fuck,” he tweeted. “Don't buy into his PR stunt he doesn't give a fuck if the same thing had have gone of in Edinburgh he'd been up there like a shot ahem.”
After Grande’s “One Love Manchester” benefit in June, Liam slammed “sad fuck” Noel for missing the show. Last night, when a fan told Liam that Noel “smashed” his performance in Manchester, Liam responded, “Corse he did about a 6 months too late as you were.”
