Current Spanish and European Champions Real Madrid, are in the process of signing full-back Theo Hernandez from city rivals Atletico Madrid on a six-year deal, subject to a medical.
The 19-year-old, whose brother Lucas Hernandez plays for Atleti, impressed during a loan spell with Copa del Rey finalists Alaves last season.
The French youngster rejected several offers by Atletico to renew his contract insisting that he wanted to play for Real Madrid. He was under contract with Atletico till 2021.
Hernandez also rejected offers from other European clubs. The transfer fee to Real Madrid has not been revealed yet, but Marca reported that it was about €26million.
