A LEGOLAND Park is Coming to New York - WATCH

East coast LEGO fans won’t need to fly out to California or Florida for their LEGOLAND fix much longer. The toy company is opening a Legoland theme park in New York, and the massive complex is slated to open in 2020 and cost a whopping $350 million USD.
So where’s that money going? LEGOLAND New York, which is the work of Merlin Entertainments will include both the theme park and a 250-bedroom LEGO themed hotel. The park itself will include 50 rides, a 4-D movie theater and a LEGOLAND Driving School for little ones who want to practice their driving skills. And since this isn’t California or Florida, the outdoor theme park will open be open from April to November of each year, while the hotel will remain open year round.
This is the ninth LEGOLAND park in the world, and the first on the East Coast. LEGOLAND New York will find its home in Goshen, Orange County, which just over an hour’s drive from Manhattan. Though tickets will likely be steep, Goshen residents will receive 50 percent off admission, and the park will also donate 50 percent of its revenues two days of the year to the community of Goshen.
