Twitter Comes to Singer Skales’ Defence After Music Critic Ridiculed Him

Drama started yesterday when famous music critic, Osagie Alonge, took to his Twitter to accuse the Shake Body crooner of ripping off rapper Olamide’s style for his new video, Agolo.
Here’s what Osagie tweeted:
Skales immediately slammed Osagie for the unfair criticism and even made subtle threats:
And some discerning folks pointed out that Skales did not actually rip off Olamide’s style; the slinging of waist purse is nothing new at all and Olamide did not invent it.
However, some folks were done ignoring or joining in the Skales banter that had become a norm over the years.
Before now, Skales was the favourite punching bag for bored folks because whenever his topic got raised on Twitter, trolls arrive in wagons, dismissing his career or comparing his success to his rival, Wizkid.
Skales remained hardworking through out that period; he worked on two albums, has collaborated with international artistes including Major Lazer and Diplo, and also is friends with Nicki Minaj. His silent successes overtime won his haters over; he is truly the never say never’ guy who refused to bowed to the pressure and disappear from the limelight.
And it was for this reason folks came to defend him yesterday when Osagie attempted a roasting session.
See the tweets:
And Skales didn’t keep mum. He took to his page to appreciate those who spoke up for him. Though it took a long time coming, he is super grateful:
