WATCH: Fiona Apple Perform Rare Festival Set

Fiona Apple made a rare appearance yesterday at Ohana Festival in Orange County, California. The set opened with the live debut of “Container” (the theme from Showtime’s “The Affair”). At one point, she performed an unreleased song, which she previously debuted in 2013. (The new performance features a whole new full band arrangement.) The set also included covers of the Brains’ “Money Changes Everything,” Conway Twitty’s “It’s Only Make Believe,” and Frank Sinatra’s “I’ll Be Around.” After the crowd serenaded her with “Happy Birthday,” she did a cartwheel. Watch excerpts from the entire set below.

Ohana marked Fiona’s first show of 2017. Late last year, she performed her anti-Trump Christmas song “Trump’s Nuts Roasting on an Open Fire” at a Standing Rock benefit concert. Earlier this year, she released the anti-Trump chant “Tiny Hands.” She recently sent a heartfelt message of support to Sinéad O’Connor.
