Solange has announced a brand new performance piece called “Musical Meditation.” Choreographed, composed, and arranged by the singer herself, the piece aims to “encourage a moment of meditation and reflection to build internal energy through music and fellowship,” according to a statement. The intimate performance by Solange will be showing this Sunday at currently undisclosed locations in Woodbridge, New York. Tickets on sale for 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm performances are available for purchase here. Solange’s digital piece “Seventy States” is now showing at London’s Tate Modern. Her Marfa, Texas performance art piece “Scales” is slated for an October 8 debut. She’s speaking for Pitchfork’s “In Sight Out” series on September 13 at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art.
