Last week, Clarks Originals hosted the first of its three part “The World Needs Originals” panel series at the UBIQ shop in Philadelphia. Each workshop focuses on a specific art media and provides a collaborative space for Philly’s budding creative community to explore what it means to be an original. Photographers Kosten and Darren Burton hosted a hands-on workshop that included an in-store presentation and photo walk around Philly’s Center City toward the Schuylkill River. The aspiring photographers in attendance brought their cameras to learn about Kosten and Burton’s signature styles. From location scouting, to shooting a subject and editing snaps, the group honed their skills while exploring what to takes to become a proper photographer.
Check out the event recap above and stay tuned for more info on UBIQ x Clarks Originals workshop focusing on musicians next month.
