The 2017 Made in America Festival ended spectacularly. But that's what you expect when Jay-Z is the headliner.

The two-day Philadelphia Labor Day weekend festival concluded on Sept. 4, but not before bringing out thousands to hear an eclectic variety of acts, everything from indie pop duo Broods to punk rock band Downtown Boys to EDM artist Marshmello to rapper 21 Savage.

Thankfully, on the last day the rain held off. Still, attendees had a lot of mud to deal with from the day before.

There was a lot that went on, but here are the five things that had us talking at the festival.

Jay-Z crushed his set.

Hova's still got it. The 47-year-old rapper mixed in both the new songs off the album "4:44" as well as his old classics. He knew how to play the crowd well, stopping and restarting (but not without multiple countdowns) his hit "N- in Paris" until they were super hyped up.

We also loved when he had the crowd sing Beyonce "Happy Birthday" (she turns 35 on Sept. 4).

And then, there was the encore -- which caught us off-guard. Jay-Z brought out Meek Mill for a few more songs .
