Breaking News: 3 Dead as Badoo Cult Strikes Lagos Again

The Daredevil ritual cult group, Badoo, which has been terrorising Ikorodu and other parts of Lagos State over the past month, has struck at Owode Ajegunle, killing at least three people.

Tuesday’s mayhem comes after the bloodthirsty cultists attacked Crystal Church of Christ (C&S) Aladura at no 4, Victor Anibaba Street, Owode Weighbridge, along Ikorodu Road, Punch writes.

According to an eyewitness who spoke on condition of anonymity, one woman and two girls were killed during the attack.

It is understood that the unfortunate victims in the latest onslaught by Badoo are the wife of the founder of the church, Mrs. Ajidara, her two-year old daughter and another single mum who lived in the church with her daughter.

This attack is a serious setback to hopes of a return to peaceful living in Ikorodu and environs after no fewer than 100 members of the ritualists were nabbed by the Odua Peoples’ Congress (OPC) and local vigilante groups at the weekend.

The wanton destruction of lives and property wrought by the group has forced residents to take laws into their hands, leading to the lynching of three suspected cult members recently.
